Questions de quelques fan : How do you choose where to hit your serves? Dave, Canada It obviously depends what weakness my opponent has. But also sometimes I just go for the big serves, and where I hit it just depends on how I feel and what suits the moment best ;)
What are your Top 3 favorite things about Bali? Utkarsh, India The people are very nice - the tournament is very laid back, so it's great to play here. The weather has been great, a little hot and humid and sometimes rainy though, so it's nice to play indoors! And we've also had so many nice activities to do here, like the pottery place
Were your forehand and backhand always both strong, or did it take longer for one of them to develop? Sandra, Germany I think I was always pretty even. At some points something always gets stronger and the other catches up but there was never a big difference. I'd say both sides were always pretty even.
Looking back, how do you feel about winning Xperia Hot Shots? Stephanie, UK Great. Especially in the beginning I was pretty low ranked, so it was a great journey and we did many fun things. My favorite thing was meeting David Guetta. After the interview he spontaneously invited me to come to his concert, which was great. It was also a great experience letting the fans get to know me a little bit better. I hope they enjoyed it as well :)
Which players are you most friendly with? James, USA Quite a few! Like I mentioned above, Daniela and I - we also practice a lot together. Tamira Paszek, Jarka Gajdosova... there are many others, especially some of the younger ones in my age group because we grew up playing together.
What is more important to you - winning a Grand Slam or getting No.1? Edvard, Armenia That's tough to say. My dream is to achieve both! But I think winning a Grand Slam is unbelievably special. When you hold up a trophy in front of the crowd it's an amazing feeling. Nothing can beat that!
What has been your most memorable match of 2011? Felipe, Belgium Playing Li Na in the second round at Wimbledon with the closed roof, the crowd cheering for me, saving two match points and winning 8:6 in the third was just amazing!
Do you plan on continuing to play doubles with Sam in 2012? Victor Yes, we are planning on playing doubles together. We have a lot of fun together on the court!
